Our project started with a vision: to connect artists from Europe and China on a single art platform.

The platform aimed to break down geographical

and cultural barriers, creating a space where artists

could showcase their work and collaborate

across borders.


Through strategic partnerships and a commitment

to inclusivity, our platform has become a dynamic

hub for fostering meaningful

connections between the vibrant artistic

communities of Europe and China.

Research & Analysis: We conducted user interviews, surveys, and analyzed in-app analytics to identify key pain points and understand the needs of both artists and art buyers. Additionally, we studied competitor apps and industry trends to gather valuable insights for optimizing the user experience on our art piece selling platform. This research allowed us to create a more intuitive and efficient interface that caters to the specific demands of both user groups.


Wireframing & Prototyping: Based on the research findings, we restructured the app's navigation and content, prioritizing features and information according to user needs. We designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on user feedback. Afterward, we built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the design.


Usability Testing: We conducted usability tests with a diverse group of users to validate the design and identify areas for improvement. Based on the feedback, we made necessary adjustments to the design.


Visual Design & Style Guide: We developed a cohesive visual language, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, ensuring consistency throughout the app. We also created a style guide to maintain design consistency in future updates.

Result

As a result of our efforts, we now have buyers reaching out weekly for new art pieces, demonstrating increased engagement. This success also led us to develop events and campaigns, allowing users to tour each artist's workspace, fostering a strong sense of community. Today, our platform boasts over 60 regular attendees, further enhancing connections between artists and art buyers.
